"The female cast members are an essential part of the group. With Erin Breen (now a L.A. transplant), Erin Johnson, and the charismatic new member Brigid Marshall, the ladies hold it down comically and dramatically." - Gapers Block on (long pause) "The Reception"
"...Marshall has become a noticeable fixture on stage." - Gapers Block on (long pause) "The Reception"
"...the sixth installment brought some very touching and real moments. It carried tension, sadness and compassion to the stage, but this is comedy after all, and the group brings the viewer back down to earth with humor. Like all good comedians, the actors grapple with reality the only way they can, by looking at it honestly and making a big joke out of it." - Gapers Block on (long pause) "The Reception"
"Chock-full of 90s references like Tamagotchis, Judge Ito, and unlikely sex symbol Chelsea Clinton, the show is a nostalgic romp into a slower (i.e., dial-up) time." - Chicago Reader on Chris Gaines...in the Life of Garth Brooks
"Chicago audiences expect real acting from their sketch shows, not broad, hammy performances, and this is where (long pause) often excels. The work is human-scaled, with sketches that force you to lean in and see where the premise is going. And it's not just Chicago that's taking note..." - Chicago Tribune on (long pause) at Chicago Sketch Fest 2013
"...(Long Pause) delivers some sharp jabs in the ribs of our hyper-connected, yet utterly alienated, times." - Chicago Tribune on (long pause) at Chicago Sketch Fest 2013
