Yesterday afternoon I spent about 7 minutes trying to answer questions to "The Interactive Proust Questionnaire" from Vanity Fair (one of my favorite magazines). One questioned had me mildly stumped.

"Which historical figure do you most identify with?"

I ended up writing Katharine Graham, but I'm not quite sure if that's true. I mean, I identify with parts of her, but honestly, she was a very weak woman for most of her life, and basically pulled it out toward the finish line.

In the end the questionnaire said I answered most like: Donna Karen and Eleanor Lambert. I thought it was sort of funny — I answered most similarly to fashionistas. Creators. DK, obviously of Donna Karen clothing and Vanity Fair's Eleanor Lambert, the pioneering "Queen of Culture."

It's sort of cool to have a look back at history and see who you emulate compared with who you want to emulate. What's cooler is when those two somehow match up.

At LLR I started a Clip-of-the-Day sort of thing where I post a clip on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites of one our animation studios' newest things that I like.

The Winter of Our Discontent

Lyrics of the songs people have given to me, have written, have put on their facebook profiles as a favorite quote, can really tell a lot about a person.

I stumbled upon a load of music in my Windows Media Player which I imagine myself in Cyber space dusting off coughing as I inhale the tiny organisms which associate themselves with dust.

I found some of my old playlists from freshman year, some old songs I had long since deleted on my iTunes. I had deleted them for a reason, and now as I attempt to clean out my hard drive I find them, sneaking into the crevices of my musical soul. Right now one of the lists is playing.

Man, it would suck to have mono. I've been pretty tired a lot lately, and I'm positive I don't have mono, but if I did that'd be no good. I can pretty much attribute all my lackluster-ness to late nights writing in my journal, on facebook (the death of college as we know it) and poor nutrition. For some reason or another I had it in my head that during each day a person is supposed to have 8 ounces of water a day. I guess I simply forgot to multiply that by 8. When my mom and I were "discussing" our differing opinions Friday night at The Bear Trap Inn, I sought council. Yes, the waitress. Coincidentally enough her name was Sheila (like my mom) and she also held the same "opinion" regarding the 64 oz deal. So I'm in college, but I'm basically still a moron. Awesome. Well, at least I don't have mono.
